Basic Vegan Organic Macrobiotic Cooking Workshop #1
Great for those who are new to vegan macrobiotic cuisine.
- We will discus the principals of a balanced diet, which foods to include and which foods to avoid.
- I will share with you the ingredients needed and where to get everything to get you started.
- We will create an easy, tasty, Macrobiotic meal and
- We will examine the Macrobiotic view on how to use food to promote health beauty and radiance.
Our basic Macrobiotic menu will include:
1. Barley Miso Soup with Sea Vegetables, (alkalizing and blood building, the centurions of Okinawa swear by it. 2. Short Grain Brown Rice and Sweet Rice, (best balance of nutrients and amino acids for the health of our blood, and very addicting)
3. Sweet Adzuki Beans with Kabocha Squash, (favorite of all who taste it.)
4. Nashime- Stew, Onion, Burdock, Dikon, Carrot, (strengthens, cleanses and fortifies your body, and oh so yummy, you’ll want to lick your plate.)
5. Steamed Greens w/ Tofu Sour Cream, (to live for, this is the way to serve greens)
